Merging three of it's most popular high-end production applications, Apple has created a new product call Production Suite. Think of it as Office for your editing room.

The retail price is $1,299, but the education price is $499, just $200 more than Apple's education price for Final Cut Pro 4 by itself. This is like buying FCP 4 and DVD Studio Pro (usually $149 education price) and receiving Motion for $50 instead of $149. Cool beans for those who need DVD Studio Pro and Motion on their box.
