Happy to report that Cat's Bad Hair Day (Debby Wolfe UCF FILM 2004) has been accepted for screening at the LA Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles. Here's what the acceptance letter looked like.
Dear Ms. Wolfe,
After a very long judging process, the LA Femme Film Festival Selection Committee and Festival Director, Leslie LaPage, has concluded the programming for the 2005 festival. We would like to welcome you and your film entitled "Cat's Bad Hair Day" to screen at the LA Femme Film Festival May 27th-29th.
Next week you will be receiving from our office a screening time for your film. Please let us know how many "VIP All Access Passes" you will need for you and your crew to attend the "Kick Off Party" on May 26th, the Seminars on May 27th, the Parties, and the Festival.
The screening venue for the festival is the Beaudry Theater located at the LA Center Studios 450 S. Bixel St. Los Angeles 90017, which is our host for this year's festival.
Strangely, UCF FILM went zero for five in the Jacksonville Film Festival (Jacksonville??? Jeeze, we gotta check what they accepted!) We'll look to crack that nut next year.
