As readers of this blog already know, MR MALIKAI BATTLES THE AEROPLANE, directed by Drew Blatman ('05) took Grand Prize at the 8th Annual Seoul International Youth Film Festival (SIYFF).To your left is the lovely trophy that arrived here for Drew, along with a program and an award certificate written completely in Korean except for the words "Drew Blatman."
This is probably one of the nicest Festival trophies I've ever seen, particularly for a shorts filmmaker from across the ocean.
The SIYFF is doing a really lovely job and we're happy to be part of the their show.
