Bob Jones' Doc To Play Three More Fests
Professor Bob Jones' documentary American Soldier has been selected for three more fests: New Filmmakers in NYC, Best Damn Short Film Fest and Palm Springs Int. Short Film Fest.
Alumni - Aaron King Makes Docs
Aaron King, late of AFI and UCF FILM, write in to tell us:
I just completed a couple of short documentaries for the website quarterlife.com. They feature two very talented musician friends of mine, Brianna Nadeau and Jon Rosenberg.
Jon's are: Cascade Array Parts I & II
Bri's are: Modern Soul Parts I & II
Check them out!
Some of my shoddy lighting didn't survive the flash compression so I'm thinking about reposting them in higher quality on iklipz.com after the first month exclusivity ends with quarterlife.com too.
hope you enjoy!

Casting Call Pro WantsYou!
Here's an email we got from a company doing online casting services:
I am writing to you from Casting Call Pro partly with some info on what we do, but also to hopefully open a channel of communication with yourselves as to any ways we may be able to work together for the benefit of your students.
Casting Call Pro (http://us.castingcallpro.com) is a free online casting directory, listing profiles, showreels and voicereels for over 10,000 professional actors from across the US.
It is entirely free to register, search & contact our members, and to post casting breakdowns. Unlike other websites and publications, we don't charge for job postings. There is no charge for this service and we maintain complete confidentiality of your information, ensuring that whilst you have the contact details of our professionals they will not be given access to yours.
Through our site you are able to search our database of members directly, using refined search tools to deliver the best matches, or post casting breakdowns which are distributed to those members who best fit your requirements.
Alternatively, if you have a breakdown you'd like to post, just email us the details and we'll pop it onto the site.
Ultimately, I am most keen to try and forge a line of communication with your students regarding their casting needs at University of Central Florida.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you want to discuss anything in more detail, or have any questions.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Laverack
