Another online fest wants your film...
The Doorpost Film Project is a contest for short films that has already begun and will culminate with a September 10-13 finalist film screening in Nashville. We're offering a grand prize package of $100,000 (USD) and an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles for the winner to meet with film developers and other industry professionals. The second place winner will receive $30,000 (USD) and the third place winner will receive $20,000 (USD). The grand prize is the largest ever for an online-based short film contest, making the Doorpost an unprecedented opportunity for filmmakers.

BTW - be sure to read the rules of Doorpost carefully. As far as I can tell, they require World Premier status for your short and if you win the first round, they require you to sign assign them all copyrights for your film.
